Bromley 0-0 Dorchester Town

Bromley put an end to their run of defeats with a dour defensive display against an equally uninspiring Dorchester side at a freezing cold Hayes Lane.

Lining up 4-5-1 Mark Goldberg’s side were put under pressure by their visitors from Dorset, but they defended well and went on to create a few chances as the half went on. Liam Harwood, Rory Hill and Hakeem Araba were all just off target late on.

The second half saw Dorchester have a strong spell Kyle Critchell’s long range effort was well saved by Tommy Forecast before Ben Dickensen had three opportunities two of which were just off target and one well saved by Forecast.

Freddie Warren fired just wide for The Ravens, then late on Aaron Rhule crossed for Lewis Taylor who had his header saved by Alan Walker-Harris and Araba had a shot tipped round the post. Both sides seemed happy to take a point from this unspectacular game, but both could have won it with a bit more ambition.

Bromley: Forecast, Parmenter, Harwood, Gillman, Swaibu, Hill, Taylor, Ibrahima, Smith, Warren, Araba.

Subs: Rhule, Henriques, Jonesm Dolan, Sekajja.
